How is “A Science Escapade!” tailored for the different age groups?

Young Explorers (4-7 year olds)

For our youngest explorers (ages 4 to 7), get ready for an exciting journey into a Fantasy Land of Imagination, where Science and storybook magic collide! Each day, your child will step into their favourite characters’ worlds, using hands-on science to solve captivating challenges and unlock real-world discoveries:

Spark Your Child’s Curiosity with a Magical Science Adventure!

Day 1 –The Lion King: Engineering & Forces Adventure

Morning –Build a Strong Bridge for Mufasa

The Pride Lands are in danger and Mufasa needs a way across! Children become junior engineers as they design and build bridges using different materials and techniques. Through hands-on challenges, they explore how forces act on structures, how load is distributed, and why certain shapes make bridges stronger. They will test a variety of bridge designs, including beam, truss, suspension bridges and more —discovering the science behind real-world engineering!

Afternoon –Rescue Mission: Forces & Air Pressure in Action

In this exciting physics mission, children uncover how spreading force over a wider area increases stability and safety—a key engineering concept seen in real bridges today. They then harness the power of air pressureto launch objects and lift loads as they carry out rescue missions to save Mufasa. From launching systems to pressure-powered devices, children learn how force and pressure work together to create motion.

Day 2 –Ratatouille: Magnetic Marvels

Morning –Magnetic Levitation Escape with Remy

Remyis trapped in the kitchen—can science save him? Children explore the world of magnetic forcesand discover how like poles repel and unlike poles attract. Through exciting experiments, they observe magnetic levitation, make objects float without touching, and explore how invisible magnetic fields create motion. This session links science to innovation by showing how maglev trains use magnetic repulsion to glide at incredible speeds.

Afternoon –Electromagnets & Magnetism’s Golden Rules

The adventure continues as children investigate magnetism’s Golden Rules—learning how magnets attract from a distance, pass through non-magnetic materials, and only attract certain metalslike iron and nickel. They build and test simple electromagnets, exploring how increasing coils or current strengthens magnetic force. Through real-life applications, children discover how electromagnets are used in magnetic cranes, doorbells, speakers and motors—connecting science to engineering and technology.

Day 3 –Finding Nemo: Carbon Dioxide & Environmental Science + Farm Expedition

Morning –CO₂ Reactions & Climate Science Adventure

Morning –CO₂ Reactions & Climate Science AdventureNemo’s coral reef is under threat—and it’s up to young scientists to uncover the hidden danger changing our oceans: carbon dioxide. Through thrilling hands-on challenges, children investigate how gases are formed, move and create powerful reactions. They explore how CO₂ affects our planet, discover why bubbles rise, and reveal how the greenhouse effect traps heat—all through eye-opening experimentsthat fizz, pop and come to life before their eyes. This session builds real-world scientific understandingwhile inspiring children to think like eco-problem solvers!

Afternoon –Farm Science Expedition @ City Sprouts

Children step into the world of ecology and sustainabilityin this outdoor science adventure. They meet quails and freshwater tilapia, discovering how living things interact in ecosystems and food webs. They build their own Black Soldier Fly composting bin, learning how decomposers recycle nutrientsand return them to the soil. Through real-life investigation, children explore mutualism, habitat roles, nutrient cycling and sustainable farming, gaining a deeper understanding of how science protects life on Earth.

Day 4 –SuperPark: Physics in Motion

Full Day –Forces, Motion & Energy Through Play

Science gets active at SuperPark—where physics comes alive through movement and excitement! As children climb, jump, race and fly, they discover how gravity, friction, air resistance and applied forceaffect motion. From zip tracks to pedal cars and obstacle challenges, every activity is a mini physics experiment in disguise. This immersive experience builds confidence, resilience and teamwork—while reinforcing real science principles through play.
  • Bring Andy’s Attic in Toy Story to Life with musical toys, exploring how vibrations create sound and experimenting with volume and pitch.
  • Embark on a Light Quest with Woody, discovering the wonders of reflection and refraction through the hunt for Forky.
  • Power Up Arlo the Good Dinosaur with Amazing Gadgets, learning the secrets of electrical circuits, as well as conductors and insulators around us—and even uncover the mystery of lightning!
  • Trace Tinkerbell’s Poison Cake through her body to unravel the fascinating world of the digestive system.
  • Enchant Elsa with a Winter Wonderland, revealing the science behind osmosis and super polymers while creating icy, magical snow.
