We signed up our 4 year old for the Science Escapade programme. We love the fact that the workshop allows young children to have the opportunities to do interesting and simple science related experiments. The science concepts learnt in the workshop are also very applicable in our daily lives, which made them easier for children to appreciate and understand. Teacher Denise not only gave a debrief to parents every single day, she also updated us via text/whatsapp in a very detailed summary. This is very useful for parents to follow up with their kids at home. As parents with paranoid/anxiety tendencies, we look out for lessons that not only cater to the child’s mind but to the child’s wellbeing as well. We just wish to point out the level of care and attention that was afforded to our kid. For instance, our child had a tinge of runny nose on a particular day, we managed to catch a glance of one of the teachers wiping our kid’s mucus. In addition, our kid told us that because it was cold, the teacher had put on his jacket and even filled up warm water for him to drink. The water was indeed warm when we picked our kid up. Our kid really enjoyed the class. The worksheets provided were comprehensive and easy to read. In addition our kid’s welfare and safety was fully taken care of. Teacher Denise and her team are very dedicated in what they do. We would not hesitate to send him to future lessons by Cognitive Whizz again.
